Ireland has always been known as the Land of Saints and Scholars. From 800 AD to the present day the people of Ireland, our monks and noble people, our poets and playwrights have been penning magnificent manuscripts that are world renowned. One of the most famous examples of these writings, The Book of Kells, has been beautifully preserved and is on view today in the library of Trinity College in Dublin. The Book of Kells is an illustrated manuscript in Latin containing the four Gospels, transcribed by Celtic Monks in approximately 800AD. The designers have been inspired by the writings and the Celtic artwork used in the Book of Kells for many years. Our Celtic letters, which are inspired by the scriptures that were hand painted by our forefathers are a beautiful representation of our Celtic tradition. These are available in Sterling Silver, 10kt and 14kt Gold.
